Alex has been chasing wind and waves around the world for over 5 years now. His travels have taken him throughout Asia, the Caribbean, and Central and South America. When he arrived in Mancora, Alex found a place he hasn’t felt the need to move from since.

The combination of wind and waves along Peru’s north shore has converted him from a freestyle rider to a full-on wave addict. He now spends the mornings surfing dawn sessions, sleeps a few hours until there is wind, and shreds til sunset.

Also well accustomed to breaking both kites and bones, Alex has been an invaluable asset to have along on some of our remote expeditions. Offshore winds, gnarly piers, and strong currents make having an experienced guide an absolute necessity when riding Peru’s north shore.
